“Design is a private , intimate process and you have to embrace the many twists and turns it takes to create an exciting , inspiring , but ultimate livable space.”
For weeks I’m asking my manfriend to get rid of the cables in the living room. No, months. And, and, and. He is not much of a handyman and I am so impatient that if you do not want to have important cables thrown out the window, you shouldn’t let me do it.
But hey, we bought a new couch. And such a beautiful new sofa looks terrible in an environment of messy cables. We also took jungle in our house (solution for the absence of Indonesia around the corner). And finally (well, in exchange for three days of chicken wings for dinner) we are working on project living room again.
Yesterday I received such s aweet compliment from Liliane. “I like the fact that your home is a reflection of your blog, or vice versa, of course . Your home gives me exactly the feeling that your blog gives me :)’ That made me so happy. My blog and home are completely Laura , and I’m glad that that does show honestly on both fronts. Internet is always still a bit weird.
Okay, I’m a little excited again to show the living room because the wall behind the couch is going to be turquoise in a few weeks and there will be graphic posters instead of our Laos monks ánd the sun is shining so bright that pictures by phone are not convenient. We started in the dining room as well and the office finally has curtains. I can work at this office now, yeah. We have been drinking champagne the past days ’cause my hard work for my business is finally paying off and I made a deal with a great travel company. Let me show you around.
