HOTSPOT / AMSTERDAM: Toastable

33

Last Thursday I had an amazing day with dear Debby. After a wild Carnival adventure and the great Laura-wants-vintage quest, we had lunch at a very nice spot. Definitely a hotspot.

Toastable is a small but very cosy lunch spot in the centre of Amsterdam. It’s in a basement and with retro furnishment and a vintage-look the atmosphere is one, as you might know by now, which I love. You can enjoy breakfast and lunch, but they are best known for their delicious triple toasted sandwiches. In addition, there are water-in-the-mouth sounding salads on the map and even a good looking soup. A small but amazing menu in a -typical Amsterdam- trendy lunchroom.

We gained a spot on a sweet blue painted wooden bench in the corner and after much deliberation (it all looks so yummy…) I took a toasted sandwich with goat cheese, roasted vegetables, spinach, honey and sun-dried tomatoes. And that was a lunch to be proud of. Delicious combination. With a freshly squeezed orange juice and a mint tea on the side we gathered enough energy gathered to continue our autumn walk in the capital, before we join the bloggersdiner.

Lijkt me een perfecte lunchplek.
Super lay-out Laura, echt mooi.
